Earlier this year, I made the short hop down to Los Angeles specifically to eat at n/naka and to celebrate my brother's birthday!
Long story short, the food and service were both phenomenal and it's probably one of the best restaurants I've had the opportunity to eat at in the United States. The dishes were assembled so well, the flavors were completely contemplated, and the service was perfect.
Unfortunately, I fat-fingered a button on my camera and deleted half the pictures I took on my trip down to LA—including the full dinner at n/naka. I took a few pictures with my phone, but they don't do the meal justice.

Rosaliné is a restaurant that's been on my list for a while. The chef—Ricardo Zarate—has pushed his cuisine at Rosaliné as a Californian update to traditional Peruvian street food. As I'm from California and given my soft-spot for Peruvian food, this seemed like a good match.
Generally speaking, the food lived up to expectations. Flavors were punchy, fresh, and just a ton of fun to eat. The decor was warm and the place was packed.
