Contrary to every single one of my previous stories I've posted here, this one will not contain a single picture of food. It's not that there isn't any good food in Monterey (there is!) but the trip was a two-day affair and both my brother and I weren't feeling very well so I just focused on taking in the sights and scenes.
Monterey is a quiet and cozy getaway from the bustle of the Bay Area.
I'm quite satisfied with the shots I captured. I normally shoot with a much wider lens that can get a lot closer to my subject (to better capture my food), but on this trip, I brought along a slightly more narrow lens that needed to be focused by hand. While I missed focus far more often than not, a few shots came out looking alright. There's still much more room for improvement as many of these shots aren't as sharp as I would have liked, but overall, this was quite fun!
